Digital Story Elements Lessons
Lessons are created for distance learning with interactive activities, but would also be a fun and engaging way to use technology to enhance lessons in the traditional classroom using an interactive whiteboard.
NOTE: You can add elements to the existing slides (voiceover, text boxes, videos, etc.), but please do NOT add slides to or delete slides from the lesson deck. Doing so will “break” the interactive components.
- If you do ever accidentally “break” or lose the lesson or activities decks, you can click the link in the PDF to download new copies to your Google Drive – no worries! 🙂
Teacher Tips
- Accessing the Google Slides: Your download will include a PDF with links to the Google Slides. When prompted, click “Make a Copy” to save to your Google Drive.
- Creating an Assignment: When assigning the activities, first make a copy of the slide deck. Then, remove any slides you do NOT want assigned.
- Personalize the Lessons: Check out videos on YouTube for steps to add your voice-over to the lesson slides so YOU can be the one teaching your students. It’s super easy to do and is a great way to personalize your distance learning lessons!
